Tapiwa Chikuku is a Zimbabwean lady who was born and bred in Zimbabwe. She moved to the United States to pursue further studies. She currently holds an Associate degree in accounting. She recently joined KW Realty as of September 2022. She is a deaf lady who is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and was motivated to get certification as I wanted to lead by example that as a deaf/hard of hearing person anything is possible.

According to research, Tapiwa has broken barriers as she is the first qualified deaf person to join the real estate business in California. The reason why she joined the real estate field is because she observed how the deaf people struggle with communication when they want to purchase/rent homes as there is a language barrier. Being a real estate agent who understands ASL would be beneficial for the deaf community to communicate effectively.

In her free time, Tapiwa enjoys travelling and trying out new foods. If she is not traveling, she prefers spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies. She is also a great cook. Tapiwa is excited to start this new journey with KW Realty and is blessed that they embrace deaf/hard of hearing persons.
